Do not track: option to opt out #6636

Hi, a real option to allow people to disable tracking from facebook or IPs or anything else in the privacy section! or at least for analytics something that keeps user privacy safe!

i propose adding a checkbox to https://gitcoin.co/settings/privacy that removes google analytics, sumo, GTM, facebook from the site.

Sure and what about not tracking user IPs too? that won't help with any antisybl attack or anything!

Anyone can use a VPN and have different IPs in seconds! also, most people don't have a static ip! so it's useless to save their IP, last their privacy is at stake too: logging their ip might be not a good idea in the future.

IPs are useful insofar as they help us do geolocation of users. afaik right now the only place we still store them is on visits, so that we can do geolocation (let me know if uve seen another place). i'd be open to storing a salted hash of the IP instead of the IP itself.

Well, you can get the geolocation from the IP then save the location lat,long without saving the IP,

and it's used in many places: kudos, dashboard, tips and many more
