User Story

As a user, I want to be able to update my profile header with an on-brand profile header, to further customize my profile 'when I look in the mirror'.

Why Is this Needed

Summary:

Your Gitcoin profile ( https://gitcoin.co/profile ) allows profile header customization. My theory is that allowing users to customize their profile and MAKE IT LOOK GOOD will allow them to think of their gitcoin profile as their web3 job hunting identity, further increasing their stickiness on the platform.

Description

Gitcoin is where builders, developers, and protocols come together to build and fund the open web.

We are looking for contributor help creating on brand headers for our profiles feature. Some themes and ideas we would like to see in the headers are below.

Profile header upload at https://gitcoin.co/profile BUT with new header images that are on brand for 2021-era branding

Bounty

Your task for this bounty is to design a profile header background to add to the existing gallery on the Gitcoin profile

Here is what a Gitcoin profile looks like:

I will pay 20 to 50 DAI per piece of header artwork at my discretion (max 2 per person). I have budget to pay for a dozen MORE of these at 50 DAI each.

Acceptance Criteria

Please post a link to your design portfolio in your application.
Please DO NOT start work until I approve you as a contributor.
Designs must be on brand ( see guidelines above )
Designs should be 16x9.
Expect 1-3 iterations on your work.
With each submission, please indicate the theme relating to the submission
Please do not include written words as part of your background submission
Submit your work as pull request to this folder on the creative repo. Please submit a (1) svg of the artwork and (2) also a png of the artwork. Please also (3) submit a screenshot of what the profile will look like with this background image.

@owocki current profile design page stays for future? or its gonna change like n screenshots above? i wan't to fit it also exact sizes of headers would be cool (current headers has different sizes and when u set up they change sizes, so it's hard to design when u have no idea which element could stay outside of frame) if it's possible can u give us the details about imagesize so we would work on it like it's on our profile page and results would be better. sry for long txt, good vibes <3

hi @panigale120 - image size is 16:9; i cant tell you which elements will stay in browser for every screen resolution tho. you could get that info by just testing the current profile headers live on site i suppose tho

@KayZou @hamzaghz @bel59 the different art styles stacked on top of each other is not very easy on my eyes. i cant articulate why; maybe its the trapsnarecy/clash of the art styles. maybe run it by a few designers in your circle for more feedback?

1st image - could we try not to skew the astronaut? 2nd image - could we remove the robot head and replace with newer style thin line robots? Is it also possible to try straight lines/less curvy lines?
