DRY reading yaml #64

don't have classes reading yaml in different ways.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of the pandata library.

I am taking the changes from this PR and moving them into https://github.com/gitenberg-dev/giten_site/pull/63 because I need them in order to do some of the restructuring that I am trying to do there, so I am going to close this PR.

No, it's fine either way. I just noticed that this PR is into the book-post branch, not master. Was there a reason you did that?
