Bug Fixes / Feature Requests - GMAIL #101

Hi Ansel,

This is a follow up to that comment I made on your Google+ status.

First to start off with bugs, rather a bug. I've checked the box under
"Advanced" to have the option to disable "Enable Resize Tracking in CSS", after
I check this box or uncheck this box Gmail will still resize it's self, so I
believe this to be a bug.

Secondly would it be possible to have an option to remove the ever annoying
"(messages that have been in Trash more than 30 days will be automatically
deleted)" that is seen when your trash folder is empty?

Please see the screenshot attached below for further clarification.

Lastly another feature request which is to hide the gadget area in Gmail. When
I say gadget area I mean the area that holds the chat, and the "Invitation"
tab. I've disabled the gadget but the box still appears, and it still moves
depending on where I move my mouse.

Please see the screenshot for further clarification.

Let's get Minimalist Everything as good as Minimalist for Gmail was!

It's not a bug. You misunderstand what that feature does. That is just for use
in other options. It allowed me to easily create responsive layout options with
CSS. I have changed it to media queries in the next version and that feature
will be gone. If you would like to stop if from resizing you can select Compact
from Gmail's settings. If you would like to force a different density, star
Issue 103: http://code.google.com/p/minimalist/issues/detail?id=103 (This one
is non-trivial. Don't hold your breath)

I have created Issue 102 for the Trash feature:
http://code.google.com/p/minimalist/issues/detail?id=102

Star Issue 92 for your last feature Request:
http://code.google.com/p/minimalist/issues/detail?id=92

As for that issue, wouldn't it sort of go away if you just drag that line as
low as it will go? (The actual behavior is that when the mouse is not over the
labels, it's at the position you dragged it to. When you mouseover the labels,
it pushes that line down to make more room for labels that are hidden.)

Yeah I tried moving it down as low as it would go but it's still there on on my
14" laptop it just covers everything.
