Import data resets ME, no modules #108

What is the problem? Describe completely:

Minimalist version   - 0.5.10
Relevant core module - both/all
Chrome version       - 17.0.942.0-dev
Operating System     - W7
Language             - En
Google Apps user?    - no
Other extensions     - none

Please provide any additional information below and attach screenshots if
relevant.

Trying to import data (Twitter & Gmail favicon alerts via script offered in 
thread issue 64: data import says success, however selecting the Dashboard it 
seems ME is reset: no modules are installed. If I select default modules Gmail 
& Reader are placed there, both reset. All customization is lost.

Reboot after wiping ME remenants from Chrome folder seems to allow import 
without resetting ME. Strange!

Phew, sorry you had that happen but I'm glad it was just a fluke. That would be 
a major issue.
