View hidden offline contacts #132

Since I've been on the topic of offline chat contacts lately I thought of this
idea that I think would be really useful.

Now and then I want to view offline contacts for reference, to see their
picture, etc.

Right now there's the option to completely hide those contacts, but could there
also/instead be one that's a drop down menu for them - labeled "Offline", and
it would be collapsed by default? (like the "More" under navigation)

I'm surprised this didn't come to me earlier, and I don't know if you can do
this, but I'm interested to hear your thoughts.

Thanks!

Interesting idea. The quick-fix for this is if you hover over the chat list for
a certain amount of time (1 sec probably) I can show hidden offline contacts.

I can do a bit more research into the dropdown but that's non-trivial if
possible (moving elements around too much often breaks them)

Haha yeah so we've noticed. Either way sounds great, whether it's a drop down
menu or hovering for a sec.

At the very least I'll add a view on hover option in the next version (probably
still a week out. I've got finals now...)

Awesome, I'll anxiously be awaiting the addition (and yep so do I even though
I'm not as old as you, but I am at a very advanced school so I should probably
be studying...)
