Highlight starred items only works for yellow star

What is the problem? Describe completely:
Enabling "Highlight starred items" only highlights messages starred with the 
yellow star. Items starred with other stars are not highlighted.

Minimalist version   - 0.5.17
Relevant core module - Minimalist for Gmail
Chrome version       - 16.0.912.63 beta-m
Operating System     - Win 7 x64
Language             - English
Google Apps user?    - Nope
Other extensions     - A few :)

Please provide any additional information below and attach screenshots if
relevant.
