"Animate transitions" makes message pane disappear on resize/maximize #139

When I enable the "animate transitions" option then make the window smaller 
then larger again, the message pane shifts around frantically and disappears. 
It then stays that way until I reload the page.

Minimalist version   - 0.5.17
Relevant core module - Gmail
Chrome version       - 15.0.874.106
Operating System     - Ubuntu 11.10, with XMonad 0.10
Language             - English
Google Apps user?    - No
Other extensions     - Adblock

To be honest I'm thinking about removing the animate transitions option. It's a 
scatter-shot approach to the problem that worked fine with the old UI but is 
causing a lot of problems now that they're animating things with CSS3 as well.
