I can't replicate your issue. Please disable other options (not hide sidebar) 
one by one to narrow down the cause. It's likely a conflict between two or more 
options.

Now I can't replicate it either! I have rebooted my machine since, so I'm
going to blame a Windows glitch. You can close this issue - thanks for the
prompt response.
