hide search box also hides plus notification list #190

enabling the option [sidebar > chat > hide search box] will also hide plus 
notifications.

screenshot attached shows plus dropdown when [sidebar > chat > hide search box] 
is activated.

Oh I misunderstood. I thought you meant the notification icon. Does the loading 
text ever go away? If not, it's a google bug. Hide Search Box is CSS only and 
could not be interfering with the loading process.

loading goes away, i just took the screenshot as soon as i clicked. pretty
sure it's just the css from minimalist.

Ah! found it. To fix:

  1. Click edit under Minimalist for Gmail
  2. Sidebar > Chat > Hide Search box
  3. In the top box with code in it change ".dF {" to ".T0 .dF {" (without quotes)

Note: if you don't see the code, resize the window and it will show up.

Click Save Changes
