Hide G+ options not fully working

What is the problem? Describe completely:
The Hide G+ options don't seem to be fully working (see screenshot).  They are 
checked as hidden, but display in my gmail (yes i refreshed).  Other items can 
be hidden correctly, but not these (which sucks, cause they are the only thing 
I really want to hide (i could hide the header, but then the search toolbar 
disappears)

Minimalist version   - 0.5.20
Relevant core module - Minimalist for Gmail
Chrome version       - 21.0.1180.89
Operating System     - OSX 10.7.4
Language             - English
Google Apps user?    - No
Other extensions     - Boomerang, Rapportive

Please provide any additional information below and attach screenshots if
relevant.
