Unexpected [ / ] shortcut behavior

When I hide the header, then hit "/" to show the header, then click out of the 
search text box, then hit "/" again, it hides the header (which is not 
expected). Once the header is un-hidden only the "\" key should be able to hide 
it again. IOW the "/" key should only un-hide, not hide, the header.

Minimalist version   - 0.5.2
Relevant core module - Gmail
Chrome version       - 15.0.874.120 
Operating System     - Mac 10.7.2
Language             - English
Google Apps user?    - No
Other extensions     - Rapportive, ToutApp

Please provide any additional information below and attach screenshots if
relevant.

In 0.5.4 [ / ] can only open the Google Bar and Header. If they are visible, [ 
/ ] just focuses the search field. Please update and confirm.
