Disable Sync Not Functioning #46

What is the problem? Describe completely: I am not a fan of using the Other 
Bookmarks folder for syncing, so I tried to disable sync. But every time I 
re-open Chrome, sync is re-enabled and those folders reappear.

Minimalist version   - Minimalist Everything
Relevant core module - All
Chrome version       - 16.0.912.41
Operating System     - Windows 7 Pro 64bit
Language             - English
Google Apps user?    - No
Other extensions     -

Please provide any additional information below and attach screenshots if 
relevant.

Sync has been disabled entirely in 0.5.6 because a limitation in the character 
length of Chrome bookmark URLs broke my current sync implementation. Make sure 
you're on 0.5.6, delete the folders and they won't come back.
