Classroom Assistant stuck at the "Choose Repositories" stage #2408

Classroom Assistant stuck at the "Choose Repositories" stage. Not showing any repositories, spinning and waiting for over 5m.

Internet works fine, can reach classroom.github.com and other sited directly

Mac 10.12.6 Classroom Assistant Version 1.0.5 Might be a temporary problem (2019-10-04 4:08pm PDT) Still not working on 2019-10-05 4:50am PDT

Reported it on https://github.com/education/classroom-assistant/issues/148 as well, but not sure which is the correct forum, so close or link please.
