We are redesigning the landing page for Classroom.github.com to reflect new features, modernize it, and get it aligned to the latest primer site design styles.

Here are first drafts. Version 1 peppers the quotes throughout and Version 2 creates a little clickthrough module. My concern on that one is everything is so boxy (but the features definitely work better with the boxes). I'd like to do UI illustrations for the features and bring the page to life a bit more in the future, but those will take several days to complete so may have to happen in a future update depending on other priorities.

I really like the layout in version 1. Having the quotes peppered about the page makes it feel a little more lively. I definitely agree that UI illustrations would make the feature boxes pop more.

I think some of the feature boxes have too much text, so I'm gonna work on cutting that down.

Yes if we could even out the quantity of text in each box that would help a lot... somewhere close to the amount in the "insight into student work" or a bit shorter would be nice.
