Comments Copying over the changes from https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-collector/security/advisories/GHSA-c74f-6mfw-mm4v since https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-c74f-6mfw-mm4v seems to reflect an older state from the time we requested a CVE to be assigned by Github. In the meantime, we refined the CVSS score and updated the title and description multiple times but those changes were apparently not propagated to https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-c74f-6mfw-mm4v when we published it. The current title does not reflect that gRPC is affected as well.
