Fix the issue 46 - https://github.com/github/maven-plugins/issues/46

migrate to the Maven-API 3.1.0
remote Aether dependency - unfortunately, the code using Aether cannot work anymore. username and password cannot be retrieved from the Authentication object anymore. We still rely on the settings.xml
update github-core version in the download plugin

This should be updated to 3.1.1 as soon as Maven 3.1.1 is out and then be merged soon. At the moment I can not adopt the plugin because of this incompatibility.

Awesome .. new release coming shortly? And btw.. you working for github these days Clemens?

I hope to cut reach a release state over the weekend. I would like to improve the documentation, and exposed the github page site (using our own dog food...).

And actually, no, not working for Github (I was sleeping when the outage happened :-D).
