When I do a search for github/proto-gen-go
, the majority of the results reference github/monolith-twirp
in some way, but I'm not sure that's enough to base ownership off of. I'll reach out to the Ecosystem API team to discuss further!
github/proto-gen-go
appears to be used by about 20 repositories, but is unowned.Alan Donovon, the independent principal engineer of much Go fame (and no longer at GitHub), apparently initially created this repository for usage by by [
github/monolith-twirp
] (according to my discussion with @marwan-at-work), which is owned by @github/ecosystem-api. After Alan left GitHub, this repository appears to have languished without an owner.Who should own this repository? Does it makes sense for us (@github/frameworks-containers) to take ownership of it? Or should someone else?
