Steps to Reproduce

Launch Schedule & Dispatch, select the Dispatch tab, and search for the following:
1. Jobs Timeline: Qualifications
2. Contacts List: Qualifications
3. Equipment List: Forklift
Drag the Final Qualifications job onto the timeline, starting today and ending in 2 days time.
Drag the Contact, Some Qualifications, to the job resizer on the timeline.
Drag the Equipment, 18,000 Pound Forklift, to the job resizer on the timeline.
Drag the Contact, All Qualifications, to the job resizer on the timeline.

Expected Result

All 3 resources should be visible on the timeline.

Actual Result

Not all of my resources make it to the timeline.
The first Contact makes it to the timeline, but depending on how long you wait before dragging the piece of Equipment or the next Contact, it won’t get added and you have to do it again.
From what I can see, you need to wait at least 4 seconds or until all of the loading bars have disappeared before dragging your next resource to the job. A dispatcher isn’t going to want to wait this long to update their jobs.
No errors in the logs.

QA Updates

Intermittently, the resource will drop on to the timeline without me releasing the mouse button. Currently failing 1:8 attempts.
Attempting again and I’m 2:2 – it seems to happen when the panel is refreshing and you’re holding your next contact, ready to drop once the refresh has finished

Analysis

I think this issue is resolved now that we’ve updated the calendar plugin and added some more efficient handling of real time updates.
