I first contributed to the Chocolatey project in March 2014, and since January 2018 I have been working on it, and other Chocolatey products, full time, from the office in my garage in the North East of Scotland.
The latest version of Chocolatey CLI shipped on the 8th August 2023, and since then, it has been downloaded over 9 million times.
The Chocolatey Community Repository is one of the largest collection of packages which can be installed on Windows with over 10,000 packages. Those packages collectively have been downloaded over 2.5 billion times!
