I'm an iOS developer part of the team that just released the embrace-apple-sdk. This is an observability framework built for Apple platforms using OpenTelemetry.

I've been an iOS developer for over 10 years, the last 4 I've been working on teams collecting high frequency telemetry from mobile devices. First at Root Insurance, on their "Telematics" team which collected driving data to power their insurance pricing engine. I'm now at Embrace Mobile working on mobile app observability to help developers understand their app's behavior when it is out in the wild.

Additional Information

We have the "BrandGame" example app in the repo to be a quirky app that we can use to showcase observability using OpenTelemetry. This app has a growing list of mini games that help provide examples to developers on instrumenting their own apps.
