Post Recycling for Evergreen Content #279

Open MikeKMiller opened 1 month ago

MikeKMiller commented 1 month ago

šŸ”– Feature description

It would be a great addition to enable users to mark certain posts as evergreen, allowing them to be automatically re-posted at regular intervals without the need to reschedule manually.

šŸŽ¤ Why is this feature needed ?

In my use case, I have several evergreen posts that remain relevant over time (e.g., blog posts, tips, or offers). Having the ability to automatically recycle these posts would save a lot of time and ensure that valuable content continues to be shared without having to reschedule it repeatedly.

āœŒļø How do you aim to achieve this?

Iā€™d love to see an option to mark posts as "evergreen" during the scheduling process. Once marked, the system could automatically re-post them at set intervals (weekly, monthly, etc.), helping keep key content in circulation.

šŸ”„ļø Additional Information

There are similar features in other platforms, but having this directly in Postiz would make content management more efficient for long-term content strategies. This would especially benefit businesses or individuals who rely heavily on evergreen content to drive traffic and engagement.

šŸ‘€ Have you spent some time to check if this feature request has been raised before?

Are you willing to submit PR?

None

This feature could be a game-changer for content management on Postiz. It aligns well with the needs of users who have evergreen content and want to maintain a consistent online presence without the hassle of manual rescheduling.
