Added help on SCINGE.m and made iffile backwards compatible #2

This should make the code run on R2014a, or point to another issue for backwards compatibility.

e847264 fixed the earlier file parsing problem. However, there are new errors when I run with R2014b on Windows that seem to be related to the glmnetMex. I suggest we defer those to a separate issue and work on supporting a newer version of MATLAB on Linux initially.
