There are a lot of disputes. Who is to blame and what to do? Most are against violence. There are many confrontations in our world, look around: Afghanistan, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, the Gaza Strip, Iraq.... and this is not the end. It's a pity that this happens!

Unfortunately we realise how bad is the war when the bombs start to fall on our heads or the heads of the loved ones. As you may know my wife is Ukrainian. Her parents and sister with sister's kids in South West Ukraine have been hiding from the Russian bombs for weeks and now they managed to escape. They were lucky to stay alive but lost their homes and land probably forever. Now we are waiting for the 6 of them to reach my house. This war is not worse than the others I'm just victim of it. Note that a big quantity of cherrytree has been designed and developed in South East Ukraine in the months spent there with my relatives. Berdyansk has been my holiday sea for many years I still cannot believe has been stolen from the neighbouring country.

Hi Viktor I think I understood your points and hopefully I have applied the changes you were asking for in https://github.com/giuspen/cherrytree/commit/7027e57c7a3ff47e449b1051539084b634e807d4 , except for the search/replace menu items and dialog. I cannot remove menu items because many users want to have available menu items and keyboard shortcuts to start the unified search/replace dialog with already the checkboxes ticks that they expect. I understand though that you would like the search/replace in a single and multiple nodes also unified and an additional checkbox to switch between the two types of searches added into the dialog, is it correct? I will have a thought, it is probably simple to add the checkbox that you ask to unify those dialogs.

Hi Giuseppe. My suggestion is not to completely delete the items, but to combine them. Yes, unfortunately, a couple of lines and the search menu will disappear, but we will achieve universality. Can you launch a beta version for users to test?
