How did you install it? It is likely not the PPA version I suppose. Can you uninstall that and install as follows from a terminal: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:giuspen/ppa sudo apt update sudo apt install cherrytree
I re-install it again via same method (PPA) Still have same issue.
Ok can you run from a terminal (just type cherrytree and enter) and past here what is printed on the terminal when you fail to save
I'm Sorry, I didn't noticed that I have to write file's name at top to save it. Its working perfectly now. Thanks

Version, Operative system Linux Mint 21.1 Cinnamon.
Describe the bug I already have the last version of Cherrytree installed on my laptop, but I cannot save any file at any path. I searched on google but I did not got any solution, I was work with Cherrytree on my previous OS (Windows 10). I love this app and want to work with it on Linux. Screenshot attached.
