Auto complete with Autokey not working on Ubuntu #2273

First off... I absolutely love Cherrytree... thank you. It beats all others by a mile.

Version, Operative system Cheerytree version: 0.99.55 OS: Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS

Describe the bug I use Autokey to provide auto-completion for keywords e.g. entering mymol will auto expand to my full outlook email address. Since about 2 weeks ago, this no longer works in Cherrytree but works everywhere else. Any ideas why it's stopped working?

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go into a node
  2. start adding the shortkey e.g. mymol - it should autoexpand to my email address
  3. it doesn't :)

Could be simply that cherrytree is stealing that keyboard shortcut, have a look at the preferences dialog tab keyboard shortcuts
