Go to a node, then Copy link to node.
Then go to some other node.
Select some unformatted text. Then paste.
Now, any text that was previously selected is now gone and replaced by the name of the node (or anchor). Because I also often print the pages, the full name of node link is unwanted - I want just to simply write to not be confused when printed.
The workaround for this is cumbersome also.
Paste node (or anchor link) without having any text selected (I has the habit to put the cursor between <> chars)
Put the marker somewhere in the middle of the node link, e.g. T|heFullNameOfNodeLink (pipe char pretendes to be cursor) (doesn't work if text marker is placed just before first character or after last character of link text)
then enter the new name of the link text - eg. just "link"
Then select from here to the last char of the old link text, hit Delete
Move the cursor just before first character of link text, keep Shift while right-key to select any part of the old link text, then hit Delete.
Describe the solution you'd like
If the clipboard contains a node link, then pasting while any unformatted text are selected should cause the selected text to remain, but still become a clickable link to a node (or anchor).
If no text are selected, the paste link should behave just the same as in current version of CT.
