Version, Operative system State the Version and the Operative System/Desktop. Try the latest available version before reporting an issue. Linux Lubuntu 22.04 cherrytree 0.99.43 Describe the bug A clear and concise description of what the bug is. The newest upgrade has lost the menu bar reducing the functionality of the program greatly.
I'm not sure if this was intentional or not but there doesn't seem to be any indication in the release notes.

To Reproduce If applicable, attach a non-personal document where the issue can be reproduced systematically. Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to '...'
  2. Click on '....'
  3. Scroll down to '....'
  4. See error

You should add the PPA and upgrade to the real latest which is 0.99.55 (with 0.99.56 coming in a few days).
