Importing Documentation
I am unable to find example files for how to format external notes to import them. I would like to import them either from Plaintext or Markdown. I was unable to locate the documentation on how to specify Nodes and Child Nodes in an md or txt file.
Is documentation available on how to format files to be imported? If not, could there be?
Counterintuitive import/export discrepancies
I found it counterintuitive that
"Export to Plain Text" is not symmetric with "Import to Plain Text"
I am having trouble understanding exactly how to format my external notes so that I can import them into CherryTree correctly. I attempted to create simple notes in order to export them to view the format. Unfortunately, the CherryTree export Plain Text files are of a different format from CherryTree import Plain Text files.

And immediately import the Plain Text file created by CherryTree back in, it looks like this:
