No configuration file created when installed from source #2356

Version 1.0.1 on Rocky 8.6 (RHEL)

Installed from source code and no configuration file was created. I find no documentation on where to put the config file or what to put in it. It is currently logging to the console, which is very annoying since it is logging in debug mode.

Have restarted several times

cherrytree_logging_to_console

The config file is automatically created if missing. The location is ~/.config/cherrytree/config.cfg and you can access the config directory also from cherrytree menu file->preferences->open preferences directory
