It is a very good note taking application, but if I can support my local language. I would love it.

My work is based in Cambodia, working with languages that use the Khmer script (all unicode). I would also love it if Cherry Tree could show non-Roman scripts, like Khmer.

In order to add support for a new language we need a person that knows that language available to at least provide the very first translation (also maintaining it would be ideal). If anybody is available I will provide the file to translate and instructions.

Hi. Thanks for your response. I was talking about actually typing my notes in Khmer, rather than the UI language. I thought that is what @Romdoul25 was referring to as well. I posted because in Windows when I type a note in Khmer I just get boxes. BUT, I've just tried it on Ubuntu and CT renders Khmer script perfectly, which is what I expected since the Khmer characters are all in the official unicode list. Normally when I get boxes instead of Khmer letters it is a font issue. I went into CT preferences on Windows but couldn't find anywhere I could select a font for Khmer. Any ideas?
