the program is not displayed correctly the icon is not displayed in the system toolbar

Hi @micheleb62 is this happening with the default settings? Can you post a screenshot?

This has been happening for a long long time for me on Arch under Wayland.

This is what Plasma reports when set to autostart from the system tray just in case it helps: Screenshot_20240307_121918

And this is my system:
