I don't see the need to hold raw text but I guess you can change hundreds of imported notes (into .ctd type) by editing the .ctd (XML format) in an XML editor such as XMLCopyEditor. Just rip through the XML elements to change from rich to text.

I just imported my Treepad Lite file with hundreds of nodes saved in plain text format. Cherry Tree imported all the notes OK, but every note was imported as rich text. Instead of manually right-clicking and changing node properties of hundreds of nodes, I wish there was an option to force import Treepad Lite file as plain text.
Another option: the ability to select all nodes in the tree explorer and change the file format for all selected nodes.
