while marking duplicates the "original" should be more clearly indicated #423

with the new duplicate marking feature it is WAY easier to mark duplicates, however sometimes quantifiers get confused on which one they marked as the original.

we need a clear way to distinguish the original praise from the one(s) that will be marked as a duplicate. one suggestion would be to highlight the whole row in a color or have some text pop up near the checkmark indicating is as original or duplicate

more ideas and suggestions welcome based on feasability!

What if:

something like this: image

so when you "mark" them they shrink and move under the original? when you uncheck (unmark as duplicate) them they move back to their original state and position?

Yeah that's the idea!

perhaps while the user is marking duplicates the original is highlighted then when they confirm and "mark as duplicate" then they would shrink under the original. Assuming shrinking would make the information inside the duplicate praise illegible it would be useful for the user to be able to read all the information inside of the praise while in the process marking duplicates but then decluttering them from the overall view, by shrinking them, once the marking process is done.
