Basic testing of AHA new design using JAWS

All, We deployed AHA on one of our IBM test servers and I had my accessibility team do the first round of testing . Questions from the team,would these templates be transferred to word press templates,which is a yes from mail from George. The testing team should be able to help by testing further once we have the pages moved to wordpress.

Here is the report :

Summary : Accessible Housing Austin! AHA!

1. Titles of the page is not refreshing, For Eg: When we activate the option “Story Of Aha” under “About Aha” the title of the Home page still remains.
2. There is no Main Land mark Region in any of the web page
3. When we activate the option “Tenants” Under the pop up “our stories” the screen reader identifies couple of elements as “Linda Video”, “Video picture”. Here we are not sure how to access these video’s since there is no Anchor Links OR buttons for the same.

1. When we activate one of the option under any pop up menu’s the page refreshes and new content is displayed. How ever the pop up menu collapses and we are unable to determine which pop up we we were accessing earlier to get the active page. We could use bread crums to enable us to know the path we followed to reach the active page.
