As the Austin tenants guide PDF is not accessible via screen reader JAWS,and while the council is working towards changing its content,we may not have an updated version,Here is the note from Isabelle with the change request ............

to Mehdia, me, george Hi Mehdia & George, (1) I check with the Austin Tenants Council and confirmed that they are in the process of updating their Guide to Affordable Housing, so there won't be an accessible version available for a few weeks. I suggest that we change the language on the "Get Housing" page from:

"For a list of other housing resources, download the Austin Tenants’ Council Guide to Affordable Housing." to "For a list of other housing resources, please contact the Austin Tenants' Council. "

and hyperlink Austin Tenants Council to http://www.housing-rights.org/ .
