PDF Accessibility(AHA white paper) #67

Open mehdia opened 10 years ago

mehdia commented 10 years ago

I have had the only PDF we not have tested(AHA White paper.pdf) by my tester who is a screen reader . It is 80% accessible . However just taking notes about what can be better : The headings are not read as headings (the items in bold) screen reader is missing the top left corner AHA logo and the AHA address in the end . We are not sure how to fix this ,I guess by the time we are doing the word press version we would learn .Any suggestions?

I can make changes to the word doc as directed; not sure what to do about the screen reader issues.

this is just a one page PDF,the screen reader reads everything except the logo on top and the address at the end of the page,so in worse case we can let this stay i guess,as at least the content is accessible,so this is not a sev 1 in my opinion.

georgeluc commented 10 years ago

Hmmm.... will need to make a decision if this is a big enough issue... team?
