smd5050 leds #21

can these type of leds be used, do they have to have the lpd8806?

You will need addressable leds so the 5050's are out of the question ;( you can get the ldp8806 52 led strip on ebay pretty cheap I paid $27.50 a meter

thanks :) I assume a 52 led strip is better than a 32 one right? more lights per meter.
