Currently, the Electric Fence is not terribly useful to use with animals. The issue is that the animals don't know to actively avoid the Electric Fence and as such will just wander up to it and kill themselves on it.
Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like to see the fence no longer do any damage, instead, I'd like to see a harmless knockback applied to the animal to encourage it away from the fence.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Another change that could be implemented alongside this is to discourage the animal from getting within one or two blocks from any fence block, be it vanilla, ZAWA, and possibly other mods.
