I find it odd when I breed for example, a Galapagos giant tortoise and they only lay one egg. Since the tortoise only laid one egg it is kinda hard to get a good population going.
Describe the solution you'd like
I want egg laying animals to be able to lay more than just one egg. This feature would make it so that if you want a nice flock of macaws or a creep of tortoises it will be easier than going hunting for them (plus the added benefit for realism). If this suggestion is considered, clutch sizes according to the real animal would be fantastic (perhaps to avoid an explosion of animals depending on species, maybe dud eggs?). [Edit] forgot to add, but it would also be neat for egg laying animals to be able to make nests along with the laying multiple eggs as to keep the eggs in an area longer, making them stay longer and hatch longer to add to the excitement of checking in on your eggs in a minecraft week or so to see babies. It would also make it so frog eggs aren't hard shelled thus maybe them having a tadpole stage.
Describe alternatives you've considered
An alternative I have considered is that maybe 2 animals can hatch out the same egg? it may not be all too realistic but it would be a little better than just one baby. Other than this I can't think of any other alternatives or mods which can do this.
