kind of, some coconut crab behaviors(or rather the lack of them) aren't accurate to coconut crabs IRL
Describe the solution you'd like
1.coconut crabs should drown: According to the IUCN RED LIST page on coconut crabs, it states, "Coconut Crabs are widespread, well-adapted land and arboreal crabs that have to breathe air and will drown if immersed in seawater for even a short time." due to coconut crabs being completely terrestrial crabs only returning to the water to lay eggs it doesn't make any sense that they can not drown. In addition, similar to bees in 1.15 coconut crabs should actively avoid water blocks, however, rain is fine.
coconut crabs should be nocturnal: In the real world coconut crabs often shelter in burrows during the day to reduce moister loss from the sun as they still need their gills wet to breathe. This could be translated in-game by making them both A. nocturnal & B. have them go undercover during the day similar to zombies and skeletons(obviously they wouldn't catch on fire). Also, like skeletons and zombies coconut crabs should be active in rain/thunderstorms as that is when they are typically seen during the day("Coconut Crabs are active during the day in rain storms, and where large crab populations mean more intense competition for food." -IUCN RED LIST)
coconut crabs should spawn in jungles as well as beaches. In real life, coconut crabs aren't found as commonly on beaches as one would expect due to the stereotype of coconut palms being beach trees. However, instead, coconut crabs are typically found inland on the tropical islands they call home residing in rock crevices or burrows, another quote from entry IUCN RED LIST on coconut crab habitat and ecology specifies, "The preferred habitat for adult Coconut Crabs consists of forested coastal locations that have high humidity, abundant rock crevices, and lots of soil for burrowing."
