A way to prevent animals from walking through an entrance but let players. This is extremely useful for public multiplayer servers. Servers usually let players lay claims so no griefing happen. This of course is great but usually also mean players can't right-click to open doors for an exhibit like aviary, butterfly, or petting zoo. So an entrance you can walk right through without right-click and animal can't enter would increase exhibit possibilities. This also lessen the annoyance and frustration of a double door system. Zoos with walk in aviary is so cool and is such a shame is not possible to build one on servers.
Describe the solution you'd like
Some kind of barrier, door, gate, revolving door or curtain that lets a player walk in/out but not animals.
Describe alternatives you've considered
A more complex way would be somehow training the animal from leaving an area I guess. Or maybe you can select an area of land that an animal can wander but can't leave
Additional context
You can limit the curtains working with only small animals. The gates/door you still need to right-click, but animal can't go through. It would only work with medium size animals. The special door just won't work for large animals. Though it might be awesome if there is a large garage like door/gate for decoration/act as regular doors.
Doors and curtain can also help increases more ways to decorate entrance/builds with different pattern or purposes. Much as shops, exhibits, facilities, visitor/employee entrance, etc.
Stare at the birds up close and right in its cute pixel beady eyes <3
*side note since we're talking about doors. Ticket booth/gates would also be super awesome as decoration and function. Seeing just more zoo building related stuff would be cool. I don't know where/if you have a list of plans/future updates. So hope this request is not a bother or already on your list. Thank you so much for making the mod!! I had so much fun making a zoo and coming back into minecraft. Looking forward to future updates :)
Claim is great for preventing griefing and nosy player but not so great when you want player to enter an exhibit unfortunately
