Update ADMIRAL base system to Ubuntu 10.04LTS #44

Currently,m ADMIRAL is based on Ubuntu 9.10.  We had intended to upgrade this 
to 10.04 LTS, but this has been blocked because the VMBuilder tool was broken 
in that release.

Additional tasks from original planning cards:
- configure and test LDAP (this was in transition in Ubuntu 9.10)
- confugure+test Samba+Apache+SSHD
- configure and check HFS backup
- run all tests

The priority has been raised to see if any of the access control problems are 
resolved by later versions of the Ubuntu/Samba software
