I feel like this is a better approach but I can be wrong.

But I definitely can see the benefits of directory structure like easier updates and easier installation.

Also, I think vendor's should be sub-modules. I'm currently working on adding FourSquare to this package, and when I'm done, I'll definitely try using sub-modules.
