Bug: Touchscreen controls disappears when returning to the app (EMUI 13.1.0.178) #106

I have noticed for a long time that after exiting the app and returning to it through the task manager, on-screen controls disappears. Either the start screen of the launcher must appear instead of the previously played game or the touchscreen controls shouldn't disappear. Device Huawei P60 Pro HarmonyOS 3.1/EMUI 13.1.0.178 (based on Android 12). This bug is since the 1.1.0.32 version of idTech4A++ as far as I can tell. It's not just that the controls disappear, but the fact is that the application is most likely frozen! There are many types of bugs ranging from freezing to game crashes. And they all appear if you minimized the game and then opened it again after some time. I think idTech4A is simply not designed to be minimized... The only option in which the game does not freeze in 80% of cases is if you first go to the game menu before exiting the application. Then you can minimize the game for a short time and when you return later, you can most likely continue playing without any problems.
