How would I go along fully theming Auxo? Like, the sliders, and the music controls?

MagnaMike commented 11 years ago

Well you could always download a Auxo theme and then all the work is done for you, you just replace the images in the theme with your own. Otherwise you would have to browse your device's filesystem and locate Auxo and look at all the images in its folder and check the Bundle ID and then go from there.

Theme Proposal for Auxo

The toggles are fully consistent with Glasklart Velox Theme (same glyph for the same item)

Auxo Theme v1.0

I'm actually not a fan of the ON OFF stuff. :/

@jadedjoshua No problem for me; What's your proposal respectfully with glasklart HMI ?

On my side, i am not a fan of dashing the glyphs or the dashed circle. On / Off is in the spirit of my prefered colored theme for SBSettings = Serious SBSettings HD

As no color is available, we need something where we will not spend 2 seconds on each item to analyze it's status. Glowing/Not Glowing is not an option with respect to Glasklart glyphs (and not readable under shiny conditions). (White / Blue or White / Orange could be, but it's with colors)

You are welcome to propose an alternate solution (thinking about icons like 3G, VPN, LTE Vibrate which are not evident to render in both states) ;-)

MagnaMike commented 11 years ago

See my post on #2807 for my toggle idea.

iPhoneAddict commented 11 years ago

I had a look. The approach shall be global and be understandable simply. It's quite easy on some glyphs, if you look at cellular data for example.

When you go to 3G, LTE, VPN, it's more complex. Even, Rotation Lock is not clearly readable on the retina screen Open/Closed Need to be thought a bit more still, i think.

For the shadow, i will have a look. At first, I wanted to avoid resizing the icon to keep it to standard size. So i have reduced the canvas. I will make a trial on friday when i will be back.

Here is a new version v1.1 of the Auxo theme. The file can be found here: Glasklart Auxo Theme v1.1

There are two themes inside the zip file:

Glasklart Velox Toggles auxo toggles v1 1

Glasklart Auxo Sliders auxo sliders v1 1

Both themes are fully consistent with Velox v1.2 themes and should work for iPhone 5 & 4/4S

^^ It's like one of the ideas I had for NCSettings :+1:

@iPhoneAddict I REALLY REALLY want to give you credit for your work but you don't have a public Github email! :fearful:

iPhoneAddict commented 11 years ago

My concern is just that i want to avoid 'spamming' on this email. Anyway, it's open now.

jfelchner commented 11 years ago

Ok it's done, you can remove it now. :)

Quick question on this. I applied the theme and the Music icon is not themed on the second page. The blank artwork has GK look, but the app icon is still orange. Has that just not been completed yet or is something wrong with the way mine was installed

iPhoneAddict commented 11 years ago

@slipko : Nothing wrong with your phone. For now, I don't know where Auxo get the 'orange' iTunes Icon. It is not an artwork inside the Auxo folder

slipko commented 11 years ago

The aerolite theme has the orange icon themed, but I don't know if its from the Auxo theme folder or the system theme folder.
