11 years ago I don't see what harm it does to leave it open? Someone might fulfil it at some point?

11 years ago I understand, but I don't want noise in the issue tracker. I like to keep things moving. Having stagnant requests hurts everyone except the person who requested it.
We pride ourselves on keeping our unfulfilled requests to a minimum. The reason no one has done yours isn't because they don't want to, it's because it's an almost impossible (or at the least very, very difficult) request given Glasklart's guidelines.
If you'd like to reopen it in a couple months, feel free, but at that point, if it goes another month being unfulfilled, I'll close it again.
