@Trubbel I copied the files of images icons version 4.40 of the Icons.theme/IconsBundles folder and I added it to the same folder but version 5.00. Sorry for my English, but I'm Spanish and translate it with Google Translate ;)

That is the reason. If the Icon still exist, only make a comment "needs update" at the old issue

@grkka Mixing up v.4.40 and v5.0 is a bad idea, because the icons in 4.40 containing the baseplate and the icons in 5.0 not. The result will be ugly, because the baseplate is added double to the old 4.40 icons (you can see this in your screenshot above). The 4.40 icons also have a lower resolution.

I have put all icons where I had a source file in v5.0 - if you have unthemed icons in v5.0 that simply means that I had no source file.

For that icons please leave us a comment in the existing issue, if no issue exists, please open a new one. You can find out if an issue exists easily with the iTunes Data Crawler.

Just cleanly installed 5.0 on my iPhone. Here is my feedback:

• Why is the PackageName on the iPads Glasklart iPad? I would simply call it Glasklart.
• Since we still officially support iOS 8 it would be nice to bring back the Newsstand Icon :stuck_out_tongue:
• I noticed that you got rid of the Glasklart Icons.theme\Bundles\com.apple.springboard\camera-lockscreen@2x.png. Has it worked in the past (have disabled all the clutter on the lockscreen) and is this somehow replaced? Also a 3x version would be nice if you bring it back.

• Glasklart is officially NOT compatible with iPad. I added the Info.plist's for iPad only for maybe future use.
• OK, I'm thinking of adding them back in v5.1.
• Already added, will be in 5.1.

I read the posts above. I still do not understand. I have so very many unthemed icons. Many, many of them. Can anyone tell me where I go from here at this point? The update killed my whole theme. My phone looks nothing like it was. Can anyone help me understand what is going on?

And I wouldn't call over the loss of well over 70 unthemed icons as "just a few". That's a whole lot.

I don't know what to do exactly. I've had glasklart as my theme from the beginning it was released and now I'm very truly disappointed at the thought of possibly not using it anymore. :(

I know you referred me to that thread but I still don't know what to do so all I can think of is starting a new thread and making a list with all the unthemed icons I have lost.

Time to start contributing... I've got 650+ apps installed on my device and over the last couple of weeks, I am ay 98% complete based on v5.

@lex325 We decided to go with the -large method which supports both @2x and @3x icons. Before we had to download the @3x theme from @dreamnet website.

But with the help of the -large method we just have to install Glasklart from Cydia. This means that every icon that has been made that does not have a source (image) file, will have to be made again.

So basically all people have to do is, go to the issue and tell us that it needs to be updated. If there are no issue, just create one.

What do you mean when you say tell you it needs to be updated? As you can see I'm totally lost when it comes to this side of things. Sorry to be so much trouble. I just want my phone back the way it was and I am trying to find out what there is I can do in order to make that happen.

@lex325 in that case maybe it will be easier just to go back to the previous release, I will try to guide you,

1. You need to have installed iFile or Filza on your iDevice
2. It is recommended that you uninstall glasklart 5.00 before continue
3. once you have them installed open chrome and download this file
4. tap onpen in... and choose Copy to iFile or Copy to Filza depending on what you have
5. You will see the file on the Documents folder, for Filza tap on the file name and it will extract it to a new folder, for iFile tap on the file name then choose unarchiver and done
6. Go inside the folder ..\hd-release-v4.40.0\Library\Themes select all the folders inside and copy them to /Library/Themes/
7. Open Anemone select the themes you like and tap preview -> apply

I finally went through all my my icons to report all the missing ones and look for icons which need to be updated. Here are some stats:

There are...

• 51 icons which I dislike (I'm only going to reopen some of them to not annoy the crap out of @dreamnet again :smile:)
• 59 icons which I lost with 5.0 (not too bad)
• 44 icons which need an update

So I'm going to open a lot of request in this week, so have fun :laughing:

Also I'm not using all of my apps (half of them are hidden in folders and for these moments when I have no internet connection and I want to play a quick game) but now 84% of my most used apps are themed.

I want to give a quick shoutout to thank all @glasklart/feature-contributors for the help making Glasklart the best theme out there. Thank you for you support and keep up the good work!

That's one of the biggest benefits of 5.0 - the baseplate is added automatic to the icon, this means also it can be easily removed btw. canged. But we are not going to make different baseplates that can be selected - Glasklart is Glasklart.

@grkka The baseplates are in Glasklart Icons.theme/AnemoneEffects. iPhoneUnderlaySpringBoard@3x.png is used for the icons on the Home Screen, whereas iPhoneUnderlay@3x.png is use for the Settings app as well as the Share Sheets. You can simply edit these files, f.e. I use a nosier backplate in the Settings app that I like better than the default one.

@Checkit23 @grkka Editing original Glasklart files is exactly what I don't wanted you to do. The better way is to download this file, extract it and copy the folder Glasklart No Baseplate.theme to Library/Themes/. Then open Anemeone, open the Glasklart Theme and move Glasklart No Baseplate ABOVE Glasklart Icons and select it.

Then preview and apply. The Glasklart No Baseplate.theme does nothing else than replace the Glasklart baseplate images with transparent images. With this, you can simply switch the baseplate ON or OFF in Anemone.
