currently, if you sing right to the end of a sound recording, it will buzz or hiss whenever it's not playing.

OK, I've pushed a tweak which fixes this (using the Done unit to detect whether the PlayBuf is finished or not) - commit 4992b2490612ab536f55. Please confirm this works for you (I've not tried it on device yet)

it doesn't seem to have worked here, though I'm not ruling out a pebkac moment

okay, i did some arbitrary hacking and suddenly the problem wasn't there any more. pebkac after all
