I just installed and ran BattleGlide on my Quest3 using QRookie, it just works. You can try to reinstall or delete BattleGlide from Local and download it again;
If you want to try manual installation, you can find the completed download package in ~/.var/app/io.github.glaumar.QRookie/data/QRookie/
or ~/.local/share/QRookie/
( Howto: Sideload Manually).
hhm i did it manually and it is still not working. Is there a way you could send me a download of the battleglide version you got so I can confirm if it is my oculus not working?
Just check the file MD5 sum:
I am sorry if I sound dumb but I am new to this and not sure what that means. I am sorry for the inconvenience
The same MD5 value means that the file contents are identical.
To obtain the MD5 value of a file in Linux, you can execute md5sum filename
in the Terminal. Specifically, if the file is located in ~/.var/app/io.github.glaumar.QRookie/data/QRookie/
, you can run the following command:
cd ~/.var/app/io.github.glaumar.QRookie/data/QRookie/
md5sum "BattleGlide v23+0.3.0.1 -VRP/com.GhostlyBirdGames.BattleGlide.apk"
md5sum "BattleGlide v23+0.3.0.1 -VRP/com.GhostlyBirdGames.BattleGlide/main.23.com.GhostlyBirdGames.BattleGlide.obb"
OUTPUT:
80608b28fac1d0c48281af9c50f99a21 BattleGlide v23+0.3.0.1 -VRP/com.GhostlyBirdGames.BattleGlide.apk
2a95aece02adb246923648e0e52f7426 BattleGlide v23+0.3.0.1 -VRP/com.GhostlyBirdGames.BattleGlide/main.23.com.GhostlyBirdGames.BattleGlide.obb
If you get the same output, it means that the file you downloaded is fine. Otherwise, it means that the file you downloaded is corrupted and needs to be downloaded again.
Dang the download is fine but still has got infinitive loading even after manually installing. How long did it take you to load into the game?
About 10 seconds
I am just gunna uninstall and reinstall till It works
I installed battle glide with qrookie however when I open it it infinity loads at the 3 dots even after 30 minutes it did not load. The other games load fine. Is there something I need to do or is there an other way to install it?
